Dear All

This week as I read my Bible a verse struck me. Proverbs 24:10

"If you falter in times of trouble, how small is your strength!"

Indeed if we waver whenever crises come our strength is really small. Why is it so? This is as being strong only in good times is not strength at all. It doesn't take much strength to carry us through good times. It is exactly in midst of crisis that we need the strength to press on and carry on.

In our walk and service with God we face pressures, troubles and difficulties. This is actually expected as everyone is still a work in progress. The devil is still around too.

The great news is that our inheritance in Christ is victory. Our first name is victory and our middle name is fruitfulness even as our last name is "in Christ".

Are you facing crisis in your life? Are you being overwhelmed by many things? Great! It is an opportunity for you to display the strength and the life of God in you. The grace of God is more than sufficient to walk you through. Therefore, do not be downcast or discouraged whenever you face problems and difficulties. Rejoice in God's strength. Declare God's victory. Proclaim fruitfulness (quality and quantity). Press on
and discover that you indeed can do everything through Christ who strengthens you. (Phil 4:13)

Friends, we will not falter in times of trouble because God is our strength!

This week as you outreach through your MCG, ECG and ESS do it with the spirit of victory. No great an obstacle is able to stop you when God is on your side.

Let us declare God's victory in our outreach efforts this week. Souls shall come into the Kingdom through all the obstacles that may come to our way. Amen and Amen!

This saturday will be our Sub-D ever first Special Interest Group! Below are the activities that have been lined up from all our SIG Heads:

1) Basketball and Captain Ball (may have soccer)

Place: Meet at Braddell MRT control station
Time: 3.30pm (waiting time of up to 3.50pm, latecomers to call person in charge)

3) Trekking/Nature Walk

CG announcement

Dear Brothers & Sisters,

We thank God for the many non blievers in our SubD yesterday during ESS despite of the rain.

Although we do not have any visitors in our CG yesterday, I believe that if we really desire to see our friends come to know God, and if we continue to faithfully sow and pray for them, we will be able to see our family and friends come to know God!!! Amen!!!

Let's us go sowing unto our friends this week. You can get someone within the CG to go along with you when you meet up up with your non believer friends to sow this week and invite them for the ESS this Sunday. I suggest that you meet up with your friend during the weekday, because I dont think they will want to come to Sunday service if they just meet you on Saturday. Moreover, they may have other plans on Sunday already if we are to only invite them on Sat.

I am really excited and looking forward to this coming Sunday ESS , "Joy the Real Estacey" is really a very attractive theme, becos people in the world are all looking for Real Joy in their lives.

Let us pray and believe for 12 people and to see 1 Convert in our CG in this coming Evangelistic Service.

Interview workshop

Dear All

Upon some requested from some people in your group - To look for jobs, how to write a resume or forward me a resume(not clear resume), etc.... I will avail myself about 1 hour to conduct an unofficial workshop comprises of: -

1. How to write a resume
2. How to go for an interview - Dress Code, body language, Qs to ask or don't ask
3. Q & A

Hebe and Shuting have forwarded their resumes to me. I will advise them how to improve on their resume this sun. Clarence Ng also asked me how to write a resume.

Leaders, do you want to ask around those who may be interested to sit in for the discussion? (Fresh grads will benefits from it the most)

Kindly advise as i will only be available after WFL 4pm as i am bringing my parents to mandarin service this sunday.

1415hrs - 1600hrs: Exploration of the Secerts of Sentosa (Hiking! - Nature Walk - Dragon Trail- Fountain Gardens - Sentosa Orchid Gardens )
1615hrs: Siloso: Sentosa Luge & Skyride (closes at 6pm) =)
1715 hrs: Magical Sentosa -(light and laser extravaganza at the Musical Fountain.)
1800hrs: Dinner @ Food Court..
1830hrs: Hm sweet Hm...

Things to bring:

1) Extra Clothes
2) Insect repellent ( if you are scared of insects, reminder ~ you are not allowed to spray at the insects) +)

CG Announcement

Dear all,
I am really excited about things that God is doing in the group and even personally in my life. God has been encouraging me to expand my love for people and also extending my territory in all expects of my life may it be my ministry or work cos I have been assigned to do new things like even translation for workshop held in my centre.

I really believe that God has a greater purpose for our lives, and that He will show us His specific will in our lives as we continue to draw closer to Him in our daily walk and as we desire to glorify Him in everything we do.

There will be two CG this week. (Friday normal CG and Sat MCG)
