Part 1 – Faith to Win Souls

How can we share the Gospel more effectively?

1. Attitudes

* Be an enthusiastic person. Remember the illustration of giving away $1m to a friend. It is truly good news.

* Choose to witness for Christ even though you are going through difficult times in life.

* Believe that people do want to get saved. Satan will lie to us but the Bible says that the harvest is plentiful.

* Don’t believe Satan’s lie that if I witness people don’t want to be around me. Jesus drew crowds.


2. Skills

* Give people sincere encouragements and compliments

* Talk about Jesus until you sense a resistance then change topic to talk about subjects the like and switch back again.


Part 2 – The Da Vinci Code



Two Application Points:

* Pray for Dan Brown, the author of The Da Vinci Code, to come to know Christ. Pray that he will be like the apostle Paul who started with persecuting Christians and ended being martyred for the Gospel.

* Be grounded in the Word of God. Study it. Attend WFL and Hope Seminary Courses.

Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world. You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world. 1 John 4:1-4 (NIV)
The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons. 1 Timothy 4:1 (NIV)
